Reason #49: No ambiguity.
Ambiguity - n. 1. doubtfulness or uncertainty of meaning or intention, 2. an unclear, indefinite, or equivocal word, expression, meaning, etc. synonyms. 1. vagueness, deceptiveness 2. equivocation (dictionary.com)
Ambiguity, did I just define the presidential candidates for the two major political parties or what? This is ridiculous, said as an aside. "I changed my mind on this, and I couldn't follow through on that cuz I didn't see that one coming," said both politicians.
Maybe you like uncertainty, vagueness, deceptiveness, equivocation in your politicians, but I don't. Unequivocally I don't. Take that to the bank. And I'm not saying it like Obama did; where you took it to the bank four years later and the check bounced. There weren't any funds in there to cash what he said. I'm a deeply troubled American citizen when it comes to our political landscape people. Do I know what the answer is? well, no, not unequivocally (again), but I do know what the first step is.
The first step is to stop the bleeding. What's it called in a hospital setting, triage? Stop the hemorrhaging. Stop the insanity. Stop the merry-go-round or you're going to throw up all over the place. Stop doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Politically speaking, stop putting the source of the nation's problems back into office. Was that ambiguous? Let me say it again, another way, STOP PUTTING THE SOURCE OF THE NATION'S PROBLEMS BACK INTO OFFICE.
On November 6, you, as an American citizen, are going to get another chance. DON'T BLOW IT! If you don't vote because you've grown so sick, cynical, jaded, tired, disparaged, distrustful, contemptuous, pessimistic, and bitter with politicians, join the fastest growing segment of the American population: Independents. I encourage you to vote. If all of us did, we could oust the duopoly that has controlled America for generations and strives to retain its iron grip.
It's time to elect someone of whom you have no question on where he/she stands at all on any issue that matters. You've got a question, just ask him. His name is Gary Johnson. The man shoots straight people. In one word: unambiguous.

Reason #50: Gary Johnson is not lying.
I have heard it put this way about the politicians that are running for president from the two major parties: Pretty much, if their mouth is moving, you know they are lying. Almost with 100% certainty you can bank on the fact that President Obama, and Candidate Romney are lying when they are speaking.
Here's one example of how we know: when then candidate Obama was running for president in 2008, one of his campaign promises was to immediately bring our troops home. You can see for yourself in this YouTube video. The quote was immediately upon taking office, he would bring our troops home if they weren't home by the time he took office.
I was looking for an example of Romney lying but just type the words "Romney" and "lies" in YouTube and the result can be overwhelming. People the point is this. Why do Americans, the American electorate in general, everyone of voting age, continue to believe the crap that comes out of Republicans' and Democrats' mouths?! Why do voting age Americans continue to support political parties that so obviously lie to obtain office, shirk their responsibility, continue with the same failed policies, and continue the momentum of increasing the executive powers of the federal government?!
I will never understand. In contrast, Gary Johnson will come in and do what he says he will do. It's as easy as that. If we would all just vote against the two party oligarchs just this one time. America could be great again.

Reason #51: Gary Johnson is the only presidential candidate who is talking about things that matter, in a way that really matter.
While the other two candidates, the only two that seem to get any publicity, are talking about each other's irrelevant and short-sighted soundbites, Gary Johnson is telling us he would end the wars immediately, and bring our troops home now. President Obama promised the same thing as candidate Obama, but we all know how that worked out. Gov. Johnson's track record tells me he would actually do it.
While the other two candidates are telling us what each other would do to Medicare and what they themselves wouldn't do yet never actually telling us what they would do, Gary Johnson is telling us point blank he would cut Medicare funding by 43%. Wait, CUT MEDICARE BY 43%! Is he crazy!? No, he's just sane people. Forty-three percent is currently the dollar figure we are spending that we don't actually have. So the government is borrowing 43% of every dollar spent. How's that for fiscal responsibility? Johnson is simply saying, "hey, I think I'll just stop spending money we don't have."
While the other two candidates hem-haw about the budget and propose things that don't actually make any sense yet don't take the time to explain it to us, Gary Johnson is telling us he will present Congress with a balanced budget by 2013. Yes 2013! That's one year later! Again, according to his track record, every indication is that he will keep his promise. Amazing! Imagine that, a politician that actually does what he says he will do! That's the kind of leadership we need in the White House. Please fellow Americans, let's give him a chance to do what he says he will do.

Reason #52: Gary Johnson and the Libertarian party are not trying to keep any other candidate off the ballot in any of these United States.
What kind of country do we live in? Honestly. I am looking for an answer. What kind of country do we live in where a political party, which is supposed to be at the avant garde of democracy, the standard bearer of freedom, upholders of liberty; which is supposed to be fighting for us the American citizen, supposed to be sending "us" to Washington, D.C. so that we have proper representation, so that we, the American citizen, have full and legitimate representation as the government of the United States of America hands down the rules and laws of the land? What kind of country do we live in, in which a political party can purport to keep another American citizen from seeking public office?
Where's the freedom in that? Where's liberty and how can she be silenced BY THE VERY ONES CHARGED TO DEFEND HER? Folks it is a shame and a sham that the Republican Party, the GOP, would, instead of defending the right for American citizens to run and seek public office, especially the highest public office, is actively trying to keep Gary Johnson off the ballot in at least three states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma. In Pennsylvania they have even sued to have his name removed from the ballot and after the courts ruled in favor of Governor Johnson, still they have appealed the decision.
Yours and my tax dollars hard at work. Yours and my legislators and Party representatives hard at work. USA, land of the free, and home of the brave. Except if you're running for president against the Republican party I guess.

Reason #55 - Started a business.
An entrepreneur. Takes risks. Worked hard. Worked harder. And worked even harder. In his own words, "You show up on time, you work hard." Anyone can start a business. Anyone can make a business succeed but few do. Governor Gary Johnson started a business. That fact alone speaks volumes to you if you have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Have you ever wanted to start your own business? You know the anxiety, the stress, the fear even, of taking the plunge don't you? Here's a college student just going door-to-door selling his ability to fix things around the house. Now he's going state-to-state trying to sell us his ability to fix things in this country. Why don't we give him a shot? Could it be any worse than what the Dems and Reps have done over the last twelve years?
Reason #54 - Worked hard to pay his way through college.
In the last reason I referred to that college student who started his own business by just going around selling his ability to fix things around the house. This business he started wasn't an end in itself. It was the means to an end so to speak. He was using it to better himself, to further himself, to expand his horizons and work his way through a degree in college. College costs money, and for all intents and purposes he paid his own way through. How? Good ole blood, sweat, and tears.
This is a great analogy for what it's going to take to fix things around this country, "our house". It's going to take good ole blood, sweat, and tears. Let's give him a chance for goodness sake. The other two celebrities are just that: famous people with lots of money and no intentions of fixing broken things. Gary Johnson will fix things. He doesn't owe anybody any favors, he isn't funded by lobbies or corporations. He's a hard working American who knows the value of good ole blood, sweat, and tears.
Reason #53 - Grew a small business into a real success story
Talk about your run-of-the-mill, red-white-and blue, American success story. A college student starts working in his spare time to pay his way through college. He works that part-time effort into a small business. He then works that small business into "one of the largest construction firms in New Mexico with over 1,000 employees." Gary Johnson website 2012.
You know how that happens? Easy. It takes 60-80 hour work weeks. It takes sleepless nights, long grueling, exhausting days. It takes unbelievable and relentless pressure from deadlines, projects, promises. It takes honoring your word, dedication to quality, and focus. It takes drive and determination in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Then one day you wake up and your business is growing. The unbelievably hard work and untiring effort begins to pay off. See, it's easy.
How do you fix this country? Easy. It starts by not electing that which we have elected for so long that there is no real difference between the two. They both want the same thing, they just look like different ways of getting there. It starts by electing someone with no interest in propagating the status quo. It starts by electing someone like Gary Johnson.

It's difficult to imagine how I could possibly expound on these reasons. These reasons alone make Gov. Gary Johnson hands-down the coolest candidate running for President this election year 2012. If you are an athlete, an aspiring athlete, or a dreamer athlete, this man will inspire you. According to one of his ads, and we have no reason to believe he would be lying about it, he scaled Mt. Everest with frost-bitten toes and a leg still recovering from a fracture. Again, that is just plain cool.
Mountain bike races, endurance foot races, cycling, etc. You name it. It seems that Gary Johnson has done it. Here is a link to Gov. Johnson's website so you can read his bio for yourself. In fact these reasons are so cool, you may see them again in our list of top 60 reasons to vote him in.

As governor of New Mexico for 8 years, Gary Johnson has served at a governing executive post longer than either presidential candidate from the two major parties.
If you pull up resumes, and set them side by side and asked yourself the question, who is the most qualified and most experienced candidate for this office? The answer is clear: Gary Johnson. It is infuriating that the Republican party is actively pursuing the removal of Gov. Johnson's name from the ballot in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Oklahoma. When asked why the Republican party, along with CNN, collaborated to keep him out of the debates by Martin Bashir, Gov. Johnson answered succinctly, "Well, because I am going to be talking about issues that aren't being talked about by other candidates..."

And once again I will veer off the path I was on last and blog political.
#1) Vote for President, people, please.
#2) Vote for any candidate OTHER THAN the Democratic candidate or the Republican candidate.
#3) ANY OTHER CANDIDATE BUT THOSE TWO, PLEASE!
Allow me to introduce you to the candidate I will be voting for: Gary Johnson.
I want to encourage you to vote for Gary Johnson this November. He is the Libertarian Party candidate for President and he will be on the ballot in all 50 states; even though the Republican party is trying desperately to get him OFF the ballot in at least two states right now.
Why are they trying to do this? Well, you be the judge after you hear what Gary has to say.
So, the day after the Democratic National Convention it was 60 days to election. Although I am late getting started I will give you 60 reasons to vote for Gary Johnson.

The Future before it happens...
This blog will now take a dramatic turn in subject matter; a different direction as it were. It would be a colossal understatement to say that things in the world have been very interesting since 2008. The world's economic and political upheavals are unprecedented, at least in our day; and, the pace of those changes is accelerating, the ramifications are compounding, and history is literally being written .
I will delve into these economic and political events not as just another talking head, but in contrast to ancient writings that predicted this chaos. Yes, I am talking about writings preserved mostly in the Judeo-Christian tradition of the Holy Bible, as it is known to Christians; although I will be looking at other historical works as well.
With the advent of this medium, the Internet, there is a deluge of information available at our fingertips. If we pay close attention we can see, and we can know, what is in store for us in the future. No, I cannot divine the future for you, but it has been recorded for us and preserved, so that we may know when the time nears for the real end of earth's history.

The End?
I've been thinking about the end of the world for some time now. Yeah, so has everybody huh? Didn't you see 2012? And, it is after all 2012, the year of the fabled apocalypse according to everyone that has studied a Mayan calendar; or is it the Aztec calendar? Anyway, back to the point; I've been thinking about the end of the world for some time now and am growing increasingly worried. (Or is it optimistic? Ah, it's hard to say. No not really...but that's an entirely different post. We'll get there.)
So, I've been thinking, impending is this sense that something much deeper, more significant, and more, well, cataclysmic is on the brink that I've decided to - tum tum tum - blog about it. Seriously though, in a way I see 2008 a benchmark; a revelation of sorts. 2007 and 2008 flung open the shutters and doors on the truth, which everyone knew but had not necessarily any evidence, behind the fragility of the world's, as well as the United States' monetary systems and policies.
Now, the depth of that statement couldn't be overemphasized. I will embark on a study in the next few blogs of the current economic shape of the world compared to ancient writings concerning the history of this world...forward. See you next time!
